Donations

Donations help make our library awesome. For example, individuals or organizations have donated our piano and a lot of our public art.

But even an excellent library can be made better.

You can support our library by adopting a magazine subscription or providing other financial support. If you have some equipment that you would like to donate, we will be happy to discuss if your donation will help us serve our community better.

Donations above a certain threshold will have their name placed on one of our donor walls for a year and receive a tax receipt.

You can also make a memorial donation.

Murial Dais Memorial Garden

• Murial Dais (1935-2022) was a long-term resident of southern Alberta. She is remembered for her intense joy she felt when reading a good book from her treasured Sheep River Library. Muriel was a valued member of the library community, and we hope that the Memorial Garden will be enjoyed by many library lovers in her memory.

• AG Foods generous donation over the years has allowed families with school-aged children to receive free family memberships.
